My name is Rick Yonker, and I have been been building primitive longbows since 1996.

My greatest passion is teaching others the art of building bows. I have been teaching classes at Northhouse Folk School for the past 9 years.

Currently I am offering bow-building classes at North House and at my home. Teaching at my home offers many options for the student to learn different levels of bow building. I can do one day introductory classes and two and a half day full classes.

Along with bow building, I offer string building and arrow building.
